Anyone else monitoring any of the fire freqs in NE OK? It sounds like all hell is breaking loose. Sounds like all FDs in Tulsa county are on some type of fire.

There is a fire out on hwy 51 near the keystone elem. school and another out at 31st & 209 E. Ave. out by the Creek Turnpike.

I'm listening to Troop B, Troop C and Muskogee OHP.

I heard one of the troopers say that BAFD lost a grass rig. That it was fully engulfed.

Souns like Georga Forestry service is on scene with bull dozers. At which fire I'm not sure, I'm still listening to OHP.........The troopers are getting nerveous.

The patch can be heard on Catoosa's VHF 151.19 and I think 154.16 for Rolling Hills

OHP is having traffic control problems on Hwy 48. Visibility is zero and people are still getting through coming up from the south. They are running out of people for traffic control. It's on OHP Troop B Channel 1 (34320).

Saying third fire starting west of w. 61st st.

I have not heard any other Radio Traffic, but Tri-District fire is also working a grass fire and Foyil Fire was dispatched for Mutual Aid. (Foyil Fire was paged at 1600 hrs).

Lincoln County EMA is currently urging people in Sparks and Payson to evacuate to the east. Also, numerous wildfires are currently burning in Stephens and Carter Counties.

Thanks 2112 keep us advised, now that the cold front has moved through the fires are flaring back up and blowing the opposite direction..

As it says... firefighters should be alert to the position of the front to watch for the wind shift associated with the fropa (frontal passage).

The red flag fire warning was been extended to 10pm this evening for at least south central and southwest Oklahoma and northwest Texas.
