Does anyone know what control channel and alternate frequencies they are using for Wright County? Will be around that area in the next week or so. Thanks for all the help. Chris

Chris,

While the above info is correct about the VHF, rumors abound as to Wright Co. doing testing on the ARMER system.

You may want to check this link to see of any of the towers & their corresponding CC frequencies may help. Allied Radio Matrix for Emergency Response (ARMER) Trunking System, Various, Minnesota - Scanner Frequencies

You may also want to listen to the Hennepin West tower. There have also been some other reports of Wright testing being heard on (if I remember correctly) Anoka & Sherburne systems.

Hope this helps.

Typo?

I suspect that this is a typographical error. Should this actually be 453.36250? Is it actually carrier squelch or is it that you just don't have the PL/DPL for it?

Wright County will continue to simulcast with Sherburne County. Fire is migrating first, with police to follow soon thereafter.

Look for the Enfiield Simulcast site 004-040.

While the above info is correct about the VHF, rumors abound as to Wright Co. doing testing on the ARMER system.

I heard Wright County TG 25359 on Friday (1/22/10) in the afternoon. I was listening to the Scott/Carver system at the time. I actually heard the dispatcher calling Wright County units and the units were responding. The audio quality was rather poor and squelch tails could be heard after each transmission. Sounded like they had a VHF repeater patched into ARMER.

Now that I think about it, I always thought that TG's always end with an even number. This makes TG 25359 unique. Perhaps it is only for testing.

I also hear MN State Patrol Rochester frequently on the Dakota County ARMER system.

You will see systems using odd numbered TG's now, it was just a silly programming preference before, but now to utilize every nook and cranny of the system, they are using all the numbers. Kandiyohi, Hennepin Co Med Ctr EMS, Wright, Sherburne and a number of other counties have odd numbered TG's.

I just talked to a captain with a Wright County Fire dept. He just told me that Feb 7 is the go date for 800 mhz in Wright County. This is for fire only at this time with PD's to follow by fall.
