Well everything was working ok but now when I click on write to scanner it loads the favorite list into the scanner but then it tells me there is nothing to scan, when I PRESS on the button under Channel the system comes up but now it's holding on one of the Talkgroups and won't scan the system, when I press the button under Channel again it again tells me there is nothing to scan when the system is in the scanner ready to scan. Driving me crazy for 2 hours. What am I doing wrong I can't figure it out I had no problems before writing to the scanner how do I fix it ?????
Any hep appreciated before I Pull my hair out.

Sounds like something didn't save correctly. Check the little things that can cause the NOTHING TO SCAN message. Download & Monitor checked boxes, Service Types that pertain to your frequencies/talkgroups,, location & range, etc. It's usually something easily overlooked. Take your time and go back over everything and you will find it.

I just made a new Favorite list and it is still doing the same thing it writes the favorite list to the scanner and then tells me nothing to scan, I have been changing all the parameters and nothing fixes the problem, trying for over three hours, can't understand the scanner was working perfect before.

Yes, the checklist for the dreaded Nothing To Scan error, as I said before it's usually one of these things on the list that is overlooked. When you say you are 'changing all the parameters' does this mean you are changing the settings I listed above? The checklist will probably have a few more than what I mentioned. Remember, whatever changes you make wherever, SAVE your work to the Profile before writing to scanner or you will just be transferring the same info each time w/out your changes.

Have you checked the checklist?
Sorry I don't know what the checklist is, yes any changes I make to the Favorite list I save before I send it to the scanner. I was using the scanner for several hours before and sent several different favorite lists to the scanner before and had no problems.

Read the checklist, the blue word is a link to it.

99% of the time "nothing to scan" is user error, something on the checklist done wrong or overlooked.

One thing to keep in mind, set up a default setup for when you turn the scanner on. Such as your top FL that you will always listen to when you first start up the scanner.
Get everything in place the way you like it. the download that into the software, save and date it. This way as you make changes and add more FL's, when you reload the FL it will default back to the way you like it. Also make sure you enable each FL once the scanner has been loaded with the new items.
