I’m going to the Oregon coast and want to program the local area frequencies into scan list 2

how is that done?

I use default list 1 for my local frequencies with no issues on programming objects with Butel software

Thanks

Safetypro79, yes you can program the Oregon Coast into ScanList 2. In fact you have 20 ScanLists at your disposal. If you are talking about Conventional frequencies just assign them Scan List 2. If you are talking about programming Trunked Systems just assign the Talkgroups for that System to Scan List 2. You may mix Conventional and trunked frequencies into a single ScanList. You can assign multiple system Talkgroups to Scan List 2 if you want or use a different ScanList for each System.

Also, if you are going to use a Wildcard for Trunked Systems for Oregon make your Default ScanList 2. That will put all finds into ScanList 2 that you can review at a later date and assign Alpha Tags to them once you lookup the TG Number.
