Hi all, Ignore this POST I have figured it out
How do I reset this scanner this is new to me like mind-twisting, I have already put in freq using 500 using the conventional well not trunking. I need to start over.

Are you using programming software, or by hand? If software, when you program it will overwrite the current programming.

Turn the scanner off. Turn the scanner on. At the welcome screen. press 0 and then press 1 to reset the scanner and erase the programming.

Turn the scanner off. Turn the scanner on. At the welcome screen, press 0 and then press 2 to reset the scanner and keep the programming.

Are you using ARC500, Win500, or PSREdit500 programming software?
