Hello Folks,

I have a WS 1040 and have downloaded some frequencies from the site using ARC 500. However, when I press 'scan' all that happens is a 'Nothing Enabled' message appears. I've tried the following steps:

5.3 Nothing enabled message:

The PSR500/600 only scans objects that are assigned to a scanlist. If you get the Nothing Enabled message check the following:

- the objects are assigned to at least 1 scanlist - the scanlist is enabled (Global Settings, Scanlist tab). - at least one object has the lockout flag set to off. If the lockout flag is set to On for all objects the scanner will also display the Nothing enabled message
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Please, what am I missing? I know it has to be something basic. Is there something I'm possibly missing with the download?

Thank you

nothing enabled

Thank you very much for the links!

A lot of good information...sadly, it still doesn't work.

I know I'm missing something...

I've attached a pdf of 2 screenshots from arc500. All the objects have been assigned to scan list 1 and Lock Out is set to off.

I then press scan and of course receive the nothing enabled, I see from the links you provided to press 1, but that still doesn't work. I also tried to upload the frequencies I download to see them, but those don't appear in arc500 - shouldn't I be able to at least see that?

thank you for your time

Your Configuration looks fine. When your scanner is scanning does the Number 1 show on the screen or do you just see a black dot? If the Number 1 does not appear then ScanList 1 is not enabled. I also assumed you uploaded your configuration to the scanner?

Hi,

I feel so stupid, but I did get it to finally work. What happened was instead of selecting the download (blue arrow) icon from arc500, I was selecting upload (red arrow)...also, I didn't realize every download erases the previous download.

Thank you for all the help!

Mine still won't scan, it still has the enabled error, but I got it to stay on one channel. LOL I guess that is better than nothing!

you hit down load FROM scanner instead of upload TO scanner....
