HELP
NOTHING ENABLED is displayed IN TEXT on the screen & Scan banks 1-20 flashing
I'm a retired Army;100% disabled Avionics Technician, so bare with me please. This thing is driving me nuts, Grand kids got loose in the radio shack, my home Patrol 2 is working as it should. Along with all the ham and various receiver & test equipment.....
However at 67 I think I'm loosing my mind, I've programed with RR in the past no issues....Though I knew my way around all my comm's equipment, no issues from sat coms, to SDR and byond.
With your kind reply please keep it KISS......And or a land line with help; would be much apricated. To walk me through this, I'll be happy to provide my digits here in Michigan.

How did you program your scanner ? Manually or with software ? It's sounds like your scanlists are not enabled.

If you programmed the scanner using software, upload the file to the scanner again. That will correct any problems in the scanner. If you see the numbers 1 thru 20 on the display, all of the scan lists are enabled. If a scan list is disabled, it will show an asterisk. It sounds like your not-so-grandkids may have erased the programming. I have a Radio Shack PRO-106, the older brother of your scanner. I also have ARC500, Win500, and PSREdit500 programming software. If you attach your programming file, I can take a look at it. You will need to zip the file to be able to attach it. Click on Attach files and open the zipped file.

Did the trick, Ws1040 is up, all system's go & my ears are once again open.
