Been having trouble getting reception all of a sudden.I live next to a fire station and was wondering if that could cause my problem.It was working great then it just stopped

This doesn't tell us much of anything. First, where are you (city/state is fine)? What system are you trying to copy? If it's a trunked system do you have all the control channels in your scan list - there are primary and alternates. You should have them all.

It's possible there's a transmitter nearby - maybe in the fire station - that is desensing you. What are you using for an antenna?

Without knowing your location (city, county, state) and the agencies you are trying to monitor, it is impossible for us to be able to help. What programming software are you using. If you attach your programming file, we will be able to take a look at it to check for errors. You will need to right click on the file and Send to Compressed (zipped) folder to be able to attach it. Click on Attach files and Open the zipped folder.

conventional system in Bethel Park ,pa. which is a suburb of Pittsburgh and just the antenna that is on scanner
