I have a Whistler WS1095 that is installed in my truck. I made it so I could not get to the main body of the scanner. So my question is, How do I adjust the squelch setting within the menu button and not using EZscan. Its under the dash. While in EZscan I set the squelch on the left side to 8 on the general config settings page. I get squelch tails everytime some finishes talking. I want to set the squelch to 10 so I can stop the squelch tails. Is there a way to do that without doing it in EZscan? Or maybe its not a squelch setting and its something else?

Push the volume knob in .. and adjust. Or .. depending on if that is your squelch .. just turn it, and push for volume. Either one. ;);)

Of course if you set it to 10 .. you will not get weak signals. But the 1095 squelch has issues anyways, so unless Whistler fixes it, you will be compromised.
