I've been doing some digging on here and it seems like WSP is all over the place in terms of what systems they use. They're sometimes on their conventional frequencies, sometimes on their own trunked systems, and other times on JWIN. Is this still the case?

I assume even if they're on one system that dispatch is still monitoring the conventional frequency? Or is all traffic patched through the different systems? I know WSP contracts services with a lot of smaller state/federal agencies who may only have/utilize their conventional frequencies and aren't up to the trunking game yet.

In my recent trip to the PNW I found them on conventional frequencies in P25 and (repeated?) on CRESA (Clark County). They could have been encrypted on other trunked systems (not paying close enough attention as I was hearing plenty).

With JWIN, you.sometimes lose. Some areas of Dist 3 broadcast traffic and that's the key word. Broadcast. Im not even sure if it was meant to.be a fill-in or not. It used to be everywhere 10 years ago as far as multicast with conventional or trunked for WSP
