I just re-read the post about the pursuit into Loudoun county. Did we ever determine if 1541 was TAC1 or was it 1533?

I'm not in the panhandle, but in a few other counties, xxx33 is "Tac-1" and xxx41 is "P Tac-1". It sounds like that's the way Jefferson County is going.

Panhandle listeners: can you confirm?

ok, great. I'll add it to the DB. I'm wondering what the difference between TAC1 and PTAC1 is if both are used by the PD? Perhaps TAC1 is shared between the FD and PD?

Anyone have anyhing on TG1591? I heard Company 5 requesting someone to go to Baker(?) private and then they moved over to TG1591.

Update - it sounds like they were broadcasting the same conversation over 1589 which is the database and 1591, but they referenced 1591 as their private channel...odd.

Jefferson Co. TG 1517

Has anyone heard anything on or IDed TG 1517? I heard some traffic about 2 weeks ago before the system went live. Sounded like DNR. I didn't think to run UniTrunker that morning so I didn't catch any RIDs.

I heard today there are 2 Helo talkgroups named Helo-1 and Helo-2. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to grab their decimal id's as the engine for a landing zone asked Jefferson why the helicopter hadn't come up on "Cmd-1, Cmd-2, Helo-1 or Helo-2 TG's?" So, looks like we need to look out for them. AFAIK, the medevac's will post up on the old VHF channel two and that will be patched thru to a TG on the TRS.

Could if be that they use the same Helo channels as Berkeley Co does since they now go through MedCom as well and just have those Helo Channels (Med9 and Med10 inputs) patched to those TGs?

I have heard the following on the Jefferson County System in the last few days:
9829-ambulance to medcom-Berkeley County
9983-ambulance to city-Berkeley County
9989-ambulance to City Hospital
It may that they are patched between Jefferson and Berkeley, and maybe others.

Just heard Brush 5 and Fire Police 5 with Jefferson on Fire Command 1 advising they were working a controlled burn in their area. They were advised to switch to EVENT 1 and appeared on TG 1557, the units also ID'd the channel as EVENT 1.

That's consistent with someone hearing 01559 as "EVENT 2" (since most TG series skip channels), and also with a couple other counties' Event-1 and Event-2 TGs (Monongalia (03) and Berkeley (11)).

I heard a Jefferson Co unit at the academy the other day call Jefferson 911 on 01935 (calling it the "service channel"). That follows the formula I posted earlier.

And that takes us to 777 TGs....

Berekley Co. - TG 9136 DNR Dist. 2, TAC2

Hearing traffic on TG 9136. The DNR officers are talking about getting their radios reprogrammed soon. I'm guessing for the Jefferson Co. site to be added. Maybe they will use the TRS more than they do now. They do use their P25 conventional VHF radios often.

If anyone sees anything from RIDs from 009000-009100, I'd like to know what you hear or see (e.g., any audio you might have heard, and what TGs they used or affiliated with). Thanks.

All...I'd like to add 1935 into the DB for Jefferson County. How should I categorize it? Jefferson County 911-EOC? I guess I'll add it with the other 1900 series TG's?
