WX radio ques?

Hello , I have a Uniden wx100 wx radio that works great, have had several years. My question is, I have received watches and warning alerts and weekly tests but have never seen the "statement" function work even when there were some low level advisories on the local news channels.also , will they be using wx radio for amber alerts?

The NWS doesn't add SAME coding to statements for some reason...

They = TV stations? No. They = NWS? Possibly, it is up to your state's EAS management.
