They are not using 158.7825 as fireground. They are using the old PD freq 158.7825 as the Response Channel in lieu of 154.1750. It is referred to as "WYCKOFF FIRE". The Radios had the Police freq in them back when PD was on VHF, so some re arranging has been done. They however still use 150.7825 210.7 as fireground, once on scene. That originally was Channel 1 in all radios originally. 154.1750 and the other NORCON channels of course are in all the radios for mutual aid coordination. There is also a Tac channel with repeater on 154.3475 192.8 that I last heard used during the Wyckoff FD labor day fireworks show. Midland Park FD is still on 154.1750 for Response and using Norcon Operations 1 154.1450 107.2 for fireground ops on scene. Wyckoff FD is the only user on 158.7825 146.2. It also is used by MICU to contact County Dispatch, since all EMS ops by both towns are on the BC Trunk System.
