I have a local XPT system, I believe XPT systems have no control channel.

How can i trunk this in dsd+ fast lane without a control channel being available?

I have one local xpt system and it is similar to Capacity Plus.
If it is using pseudo trunk that is a bit different animal.
Are you sure it is xpt?

Hello,

Dsd+ shows XPT

And my scanner shows it as XPT.

So I’m positive it’s XPT, there’s only 2 x frequencies in use. But no control channel.

So I’m struggling to how I can follow it

If its only 2 freqs, have you tried the FMP24 scan list?

XPT is very similar to Capacity Plus. There will be bursts of data periodically as needed. I'd presume it would program the same way as Cap+... set it up as a networked system with an arbitrarily assigned network ID.

Maybe it's just using pseudo trunk and dsd flags it as xpt? If you have all the frequencies in use and can't find a beacon I'd bet it's pseudo trunk.

From Hytera DMR planner-

Pseudo Trunk is one of the Hytera patents. Generally, in Repeater mode, DMR standard protocol
defines radios to transmit in the fixed slot. If the slot is occupied, the radio has to wait for it instead of
another free slot, wasting the frequency band resources. However, the Pseudo Trunk feature allows
two different calls to be made simultaneously in Direct mode, as well as the dynamic slot distribution
in Repeater mode. This brings great convenience and efficiency to the communications

@htidliam - If DSDPlus Fastlane and your scanner shows XPT, it is likely XPT. As @dave3825 suggested, try using the DSDPlus Scan List. A casino near me has a four frequency XPT system, so I have the option of using a Scan List or I can assign multiple SDRs (and multiple instances of DSDPlus FL) to monitor the four frequencies.

The Uniden SDS series scanners will also work with XPT systems, but you may want to configure them differently. If you need help with this, please ask.
