I am able to work through our local repeater with my new Yaesu FT70D, but I don't hear the end tone or tail when I stop transmitting. I think I need to set up the squelch mode somehow, but I can't find any information on what mode to set it to. Any help will be appreciated.

If you are trying to use amateur radio repeaters, configure your radio so that it transmits the proper tone, but no tone is necessary on receive.

You should see the "T" icon above the frequency in the display, but not "T SQ".

Thank you. I had it set for T SQ. Chaning it to T fixed the problem.
