does anybody happen to have information on Yankee Bus line radio frequencies I can't seem to find anything for the FCC they also have Yankee transit, which is the same company
I work at Logan which has the contract for buses split between Yankee and Paul Revere. I noticed they were using tablets on their yellow buses so maybe they have some LTE POC radio setup?
However, Massport has given them some of their blue shuttle buses to operate and those are on CoMIRS.
Other than Pacmannion's observations of the buses on the Logan Airport shuttles, to my knowledge Yankee Lines does not use radios in their motorcoaches or transit buses. When Yankee runs shuttles for the MBTA, on site dispatchers use cell phones to communicate to each other and the company office.
Which also makes me laugh at the RapidRadio commercials that make fun on the Cellular networks. Last I checked RapidRadios work on LTE the same cellular/pcs network.
I've noticed that as well. Plus, the ads don't mention that after the first year you have to pay $50.00/year to continue to have connectivity. No Monthly fees - EVER. Right, but yearly fees. So they are lying by omission.
