Can someone plz explain the difference between YCSO Net 1 and Net 2? Are they used for different parts of the county, etc? Thx.

Net 1 radio coverage includes unincorporated areas southeast and east

Net 2 radio coverage includes unincorporated areas southwest and north.

Edward (Eastern Command) and Sam (Southeastern command) units usually use Net 1.
Nora (Northern command) units generally use Net 2;
Southwest area command also uses Net 2.
Chino Valley PD is also on Net 2.
In fringe areas, units will use whatever works,

I'm glad someone posted this info. I moved to Yavapai Co last year, and have been trying to figure out the S.O. & rural FD's. Both systems appear to use numerous remote repeaters, with the S.O adding mobile extenders to the mix. I'm in the Dewey-Humboldt area, and was trying to figure out, of the numerous frequencies I can hear, which should I be listening to.

Thanks for the info.
