YCE01 and FTA550

Has anybody used the YCE01 software, the program appears to work and the driver seems to not have an issue, but when I click to upload or download to radio nothing happens.

to put the radio into programming mode:
- start with the radio off
- plug in the usb cable to both radio and pc
- press and hold menu
- press and hold power
- the screen on the radio will come on and display "cp mode"

I was not happy with the Yaesu. Main issue was low transmit audio. Sent the radio to Yaesu twice & they could not fix it. Listen on 2nd radio & audio low. I have to yell into the radio for audio to be heard. Possible the waterproof characteristics causing the issue?

The Yaesu is now for RX & have the Icom A25N for general use. Icom, software & cable were extra, only drawback so far. Icom software beats Yaesu for functionality.
Icom has an 100 extra channels!
