Trying to enter a Zip Code for Casa Grande Arizona.

I'm near W Ash Ave Casa Grande AZ 85193 (I'm at a business otherwise wouldn't put address out here)

Kept saying out of range,so I tried all the Zips Google listed for Casa Grande.
These 4 work for Casa Grande 85222 85230 85293 85294
These 4 don't 85122, 85130, 85193, 85194

Your best bet would be to look up update your database in Sentinel then go to a state, then county, and or any municipalities and build a favorites list from the info from your data base. Looks like Casa Grande is in Pinal Co.which would be where you want to start.

Does still seem like a possible bug if they are still out of range once running the latest firmware and updating the database with Sentinel. Uniden engineers probably pulled the zip code database prior to these zips being added, assuming these are possibly new zip codes for the area? Seems like something that should be updated via Sentinel.

Like kc2kth said, it's probably been recently assigned to your area and wasn't in the Uniden zip table. I don't know how often they update that.

According to Google Maps, the middle of W Ash Avenue is 32.872087 N, 111.851724 W, so enter those values in Latitude and Longitude respectively on the Menu>Set Your Location>Set Manual Location page on the radio.

Hopefully UPMan sees this thread and can give an idea if the zip tables are updated on any regular basis.

I have a few FLs but only for places I go to semi regularly.
End up with too many otherwise.

I'm an OTR Truck Driver.
If I'm just getting loaded/unloaded or taking a break I usually just punch in the Zip Code.
98% of the time I just punch in the Zips.
