Our area just updated to P25 Phase 2. I got a Uniden BCD996P2 scanner. I'm using Proscan to program it, but It's not working. I used RR within Proscan to add the 2 TG's that I want, but it doesn't work. Proscan has 2 different options, P25 standard trunk and P25 one-freq trunk, I tried looking up the difference but couldn't find one. I also added more frequencies than the control that RR loaded just to make sure that wasn't the problem. I'm probably just missing a setting somewhere that i haven't found.

Trying to scan P25 Phase 2. I'm seeing "NFM" on the screen, but not always.

Just trying to monitor my local police. Had no issue till it went to Phase 2. I bought the Uniden BCD996P2 cause my old scanner wouldn't cover it.

You may be scanning a conventional system too because of the NFM showing. P25 Phase 2 doesn't do conventional.

I can't find where you change it from Conventional.
The screenshot shows doesn't show the conventional system. Not a lot of TGIDs in the trunking system. I would set the system to ID Search so it will pick up more and see if you hear traffic that way.

I suspect the OP is trying to scan the PSERN P25 Phase 2 trunked system. If you see NFM, that means you are having problems decoding the control channel. You should see the control channel frequency displayed. It could be due to selecting an out of range site or simulcast distortion.

Now that I've changed to "ID search", I can hear traffic, but not the ones I have programed.

You need to have the site or sites that the Snoqualmie PD units affiliate with to be able to hear them. Squelch should be set to 2. You can program all 8 sites and assign a different system quick key to each one. You will then be able to easily select a site or sites by pressing their numbers on the keypad. Here is a PDF file which will answer all of your questions about using quick keys:

Squelch is at 2 and got the quick keys setup and still getting NFM. I added a few more frequencies than RR added in hopes to pick up a closer tower.

Don't put freqs from other sites into that site. Just reimport and it should look like this. Latter, you can use the Google Maps feature to see the coverage area on the various sites and delete the sites far away.
