Need help ! Pro-2096

I have a Radio Shack Pro-2096 have a few quuestions. First can you scan in the digital trunk mode and scan and receive non-digital frequencies at the same time? Also in the digital trunk mode I have been getting garbled transmissions, I was wondering if this could be two stations talking at the same time or the signal is not being received very well? Finally when going from digital trunking mode to analog or regular mode how do you do it I forgot...( thats bad )

In the 96 I had, you just programmed in the system, weather analog or digital, and it would distinguish betwen the two wne something came in. I didn't have to switch between anything. The gabled sounds happen with the digital systems if you or the transmitting radio is moving around sometimes. If every digital signal is garbled, you may have to check the settings for the system.

Pro-2096 Garbled

I have normal reception 99% of the time. Just every now and then on the digital trunking it gets garbbled like two people were talking at the same time. I have an outside antenna that I haven't put yet do to the weather here. I'm hoping that might take care of the problem. Everything seems to be ok otherwise .
