Ok, I'm using Win97 to program the trunking channels for the Alameda County Public Safety, California. I followed the instructions from the post of 9/26/07 "Pro 97 Trunking" and am not getting anything unless I manually move from channel to channel. In Win97 I started on Bank 6 channel 01 with the DEC tags already in. Should I delete and reprogram? Any help is appriciated. Also, any info on setting up the CHP freq's would be great, programed them in but not hearing anythig either. Thanks.

If the system you are attempting to monitor is here:
http://radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=109
then you need to program it as a MOTorola system, not LTR.
Program in the 4 control frequencies, setting each as MOT, and the bank as MOT.
If you scan in "open mode" (a "+" sign appears under the bank number) then you will receive all talkgroups that are active.
If you scan in "closed mode" (a "-" sign appears under the bank number) then you will only receive the talkgroups IDs that you specifically program.
