I have 4 of these radios (price is for all) originally purchased by the government for Emergency Measures Evacuation use in 2013. Each comes with an original antenna and Motorola speaker mic with a built in ear piece jack. Two come with travel chargers. All four have the optional orange emergency button on the top panel, charge up and appear to work. Battery testing has not been done under load. One phone has a keypad issue which will need to be addressed (cleaning or contact board). These phones do not use SIMM cards and should require only reprogramming to work on whatever network is to be used. They were last used in 2019 on the TELUS system in Canada. These will work the same on US networks as they do on Canadian systems. They have FCC approvals and are the same model as the US r750 plus. This type of device requires a network signal to work except when in ISO mode which allows group radio type communication (see manual).

According to the manual this rugged phone/radio has many features which make it ideal for targeted comms such as would be used on a jobsite as well normal cellphone functions. Such things as the option to use a PPT (push to talk) button have obvious benefits, but other functions such a group calls and messaging using preprogrammed settings take it to the next level. This not a substitute for a personal smart phone. It is designed to get the job done, not to distract.
