Greens, Reds?? I'm guessing that Green might be Code 3 and Red is code 4? Yellow also maybe?

Eric,

Pretty sure its a new CAD system to replace the current one. However, I have no idea what the alphanumeric codes mean. I heard many years ago from a Paramedic that they were going eventually migrate over to MPDS, which is what Toronto Paramedic Services is using.

I've been hearing the new lingo for the past couple of weeks and too was wondering what it meant.

All these new terms is making me Blue.

Back on topic. I wonder how tight the condition difference is between purple and red? My off the cuff idea would be purple = may die en-route or on arrival. red = won't die right now but will if not looked at immediately.

I think colors are similar to CTAS scale.
Purple would be like CTAS 1 i think like Cardiac arrest or stroke and Red would be like CTAS 2

agreed. That was my conclusion on their use. 5 color names instead of numbers.

At least far less confusing then their cryptic coding system for call types like "responding on a bravo echo two" or something.
