Since all I'm getting out of your responses is that you have a compulsory need to create a conflict and win it:

You are right, and I am wrong. I do very sub-par install work.

Hahaha. Now, that's funny. Your install is great, sir, and I give you two thumbs up. I'm in the pre-planning stages for lighting up my 2010 Taurus SEL. Sorta stuck with what to do in the headlights...

It's weird that another member would criticize your work..... It's very few times that I've seen that on here....
Perhaps it looks allot better than his....? Maybe?
At any rate, I think it looks great......the car looks good too!
For us "lighting" aficionados .....would you be able to post a video clip of the lights in action?

Quiet Frankly I'd stay away from drilling into them. Its a sealed housing and i've seen it done wrong. But nevertheless, if you do go for it, just make sure you have a good seal when all is said and done.

I'm always up for criticism, just not useless criticism lol. I appreciate the compliments

I have actually simplified the setup quite a bit, but I will take some more pictures and videos of the new setup as soon as I can.

I recently purchased a 2010 Taurus SEL and have been doing quite a bit of research and pre-planning for my install of radios and equipment. Your installation looks great, BTW. Have you considered any of the VHF "disguised" antennas by Stico, US Communications, or Panorama? They're pricey ($350 to $750) but spec'd to perform as well as an 18" 1/4 wave.
Permanent Mount UniversalSti-Co | Sti-Co
Disguised undercover covert license plate antenna, fender, cowel, bumper antennas

Love the installation, well done. My wife's truck has the Feinix visor light, T-6's, and canons. Now we just have to get a radio in her truck.

Nice job, post pix of the radio(s) when you get it/them!
