Am hearing helicopter on 155.010 working police on the ground looking for suspect. Cannot hear ground units...only chopper. Don't know the area. I am located in the Forestdale area, northwest of Bham.

They probably are working DIRECT and not through a repeater. The helo is high enough to him, but not the low powered HT's on the ground.
