155.655 Close-Called near Deleware River

[Analogrules]

I recently close-called 155.655 MHz on my scanner on Rt. 78 right at the Deleware Water bridge going over into PA on Saturday. I looked it up in the DB, but didn't find anything. I'm just curious if anyone has any idea who it might have been. I know where I live in Union County, I can hear Millburn PD (Essex Co.) on that frequency. Any friendly feedback is appreciated.

Pd's - Lopatcong, Pohatcong, Greenwich

All located in South part of Warren County, NJ

Alpha Borough is covered by Pohatcong.

In a case like this it's best to go into the state databses and start hunting. That's what I always do. When you travel make a note of what counties you hear these frequencies, then when you get home go tho the database for the counties you're in and start eliminating frequencies. You can even sort by service. It's actually more accurate in the long run/
I know it's not Toms River, because you would never hear them with a portable at the Delaware Water Gap!

Not with an H/T, even with an external antenna. Would require one hellova tropo e-skip for that to happen.
