The above freq has been an unknown for a LONG time - meaning unknown who is using it and where.

The 200 NAC I think is very misleading. I do not think this is ICE/BP/DHS.

Radio IDs are 58313xx - also another sort of dead end....

Comms on this freq are usually in the clear - "Open the back gate for waste management" "Post 1 this is Post 2 XYZ will be escorting ZYX to XXY" "Who has the key for the back door" - standard building security / coordination type comms - but we certainly don't have any federal buildings here other than the VA in Viera that would warrant a standalone repeater.... obtw - this 164.925 machine does "burp" the P25 vote-scan data - indicating it's part of a larger network.

with the bands sometimes really wonky on VHF, this repeater (assumed to be a repeater anyway) could be anywhere in the state.

update: This could be the USDA facility in Fort Pierce --- Fort Pierce, Florida : USDA ARS

This is what I have in my notes for that freq and NAC from my monitoring.

" P25 running IDs tags security checks perimeter 6 enroute to bunkers (no listings) main gate 6 to Glyco checking bldg x81 "

Awhile back I had this as potentially the input to 166.7375 $200 (Yet, 166.7375 is/was $304 in Orlando)
and the 164.9250 $200 has been heard from the Space Coast into Orlando and then down into Tampa as well

Vote-Scan has been observed enabled on stand-alone repeaters as well (Why ? dunno) but do keep that in-mind
if you are not also finding other repeaters who Beacon at the same time.

Anyone do a close/call or on-scene/near by for the BP Detention facilities?, to atleast rule them out
Didn't list the ones to the North
Broward - 3900 N. Powerline Road Pompano Beach, FL, 33073
Glades - 1297 East SR 78 Moore Haven, FL, 33471
Krome - 18201 SW 12th Street Miami, FL, 33194

I doubt it's the Ft Pierce USDA facility, I've been past it a gazillion times (I own a house on the next street west). The facility is pretty "sleepy" and doesn't seem large enough for that type of radio traffic.

my notes say this was heard in the Orlando area, as recent as August
YMMV
yes sir - it's being heard from nearly west palm beach all the way up the coast and also Orlando. like I said tho - with the VHF band being a bit wonky right now, it's really hard to nail it down other than what I've heard... which is standard building security type stuff. I do not think this is a detention facility based on what I've heard. The USDA thing was just a SWAG.

it is most certainly possible - even likely, that there is a geographic duplication of this freq.... it could very well be XYZ agency in orlando (and paired with the mentioned 166.7375) - and also be authorized/in use at another facility XX miles away.

We are going to have to get some more listener reports for sure.

Actually I Was referencing 166.7375 had been heard recently :) in Orlando with that NAC

166.7375 is also the input to 172.1500 in West Palm using $0D0

Happy Hunting, if we ever get COVID under control, I'll join in the hunt

Those comms sounds very similar to Florida DOC/Prison radios. Not the exact terminology I'm accustomed to, but having a 'back gate', 'waste management', outside perimiter 'posts', and 'escorts' being verbally called out for inmates enroute from location A to location B. Usually it would be masked in 10 codes, but plain english is also used a lot.

i encourage everyone to plug this one in and put it in the scan list.... that's the best way to narrow it down.

Hey, I'm a nobody from nowhere, but I'd be inclined to think about FLETC in Glynn County, GA. Its not too far over the water from Central Fla., the conversations reported are consistent with security operations in a large Federal facility, and someone quoted a conversation about Glyco which may be a misspelling of Glynco, which is the community where FLETC is located. If anyone knows anyone in that area, maybe they could reach out and see...

Not likely as FLETC is on its own Trunk, with a totally different NAC

And to be heard in Tampa on a regular basis, without a band openning, too far. [IMHO]
