Just bagged yet another. Solid 3 bars and got it three times so far. Make that four.

173.9375 NAC 284 (is this one of the new CPB repeaters?)

P

EDIT: Sitting on 171.1875 waiting for a NAC lock. It is just a little too weak at the moment. Can someone down south get the NAC?

I'll keep an eye out for it.

So far, 170.600 with NAC 301 heard a lot; 5 bars in the Pompano Beach area.
Also caught 172.7125 with NAC 283. One time hit so far.

Okay, my scanner just stumbled on 174.310 NFM mode just a silent signal with a 5 bar signal strength. No communications for about five minutes I searched Google and didn't find anything.

Since the Federal LMR Spectrum ends at 173.9875 (typically) your out-of-luck
and have strayed into the VHF Television Band

Thank you, Ken.

Thanks for that new one! It is also used near Tampa with a defferent NAC of 303. The reuse issue will be a little confusing until I get a little more info, but it is coming in pretty fast as I search.

I'll keep an eye out for it.

Yesterday was a productive day and I found several new ones going up to Daytona. I used an indoor antenna in the car to get a better idea of how close the hits were. At this point location is more important.

171.1875 NAC 304 (3 bars in Daytona where I heard it strongest so far)
172.0625 NAC 304 (Deer Park site confirmed)
172.8625 NAC 304 (4 bars somewhat south of Daytona)

I have to head out and I'll report the new stuff soon.

P

PS - Those reporting frequencies without any NAC or other information not related to this topic, can you please stop? We really don't need any info on TV channel 7's pilot carrier or known DEA frequencies here. That is not related. Thank youuuu.

People with solid CBP/BP/ICE system info in other areas of the country that may help in understanding the system over here are welcome!

I get this one with a NAC 304 in Central Florida
It first went on the air 8-17-2014 before that I had a few
NAC A20 not sure if that was just for testing or a
different system all together

Heard tonight, Pompano Beach area:
162.625 NAC 323
162.825 NAC 319
167.6125 NAC 293
169.1625 NAC 293
170.600 NAC 301
171.7625 NAC 303
172.7125 NAC 283

I'm not sure if all these frequencies are related or not.

Heard "8 Mike Romeo" asking for a radio check on some of these channels.
Referred to one of these channels as "Southeast....(?)"

Yes, Ken! Good work. Me too in Miami today. It is still streeming in as the 8MR, X6000 and Mike units are all testing all the channels and all the "Clusters". There is "Miami Cluster" and Southeast Cluster", which may be the same as "West Palm Beach Cluster channel C5 WPB". Unknown if Southeast Cluster lights up both Miami and West Palm Beach clusters, but the NAC on the input was the same as WPB Cluster (319 on 162.8250). Miami Cluster input posted below.

Here is what I got going to Miami and back...and still picking it up at my QTH:

NEW STUFF IN MIAMI:

172.4125 NAC 303 REPEATER IN MIAMI (close to airport)
171.7625 NAC 303 REPEATER IN MIAMI (some distance from the airport)
162.6500 NAC 318 INPUT TO ABOVE FOR "MIAMI CLUSTER"

171.3250 NAC 296 "MIAMI POE" REPEATER (named during radio checks)
172.7125 NAC 283 REPEATER (half scale at the airport)
172.0625 NAC A02 REPEATER (more testing - this TAC repeater has been there for a while)

169.5500 NAC 325 DIRECT (8MR called it WPB Cluster, but I think he is on the wrong channel as the cluster didn't come up)

UPDATES TO PREVIOUS REPORTED FREQUENCIES:

171.9625 NAC 282 PALM BEACH REPEATER "CHANNEL 10" (testing with 220)
170.6000 NAC 301 REPEATER CONFIRMED HILLSBOROUGH REPEATER LOCATION

Also some testing on AIR3 and AIR4 with talk of "building the console position later today".

The testing is still going on, so more to report tomorrow morning. So far this has been a great day! :)

Phil

PS -

167.6125 NAC 293 is USMS on the Miami FBI system.
169.1625 NAC 293 is CBP/BP AIR4.
162.6250 NAC 323 is an CBP/BP input, but to what? Good one! I'll file it. ;)

I got that, as well. Thanks! Look for the input on 162.2875, but I need the NAC if you can get it.

You may find some of the repeaters linked as well.

Yes. That is what they are calling a "Cluster". A group of repeaters are all linked into clusters per region. Now I have to verify un-linked repeaters and input NACs if they are actually doing that. I thought I heard single repeaters when I first started listening to this new system, but not lately. At home I park one receiver on my local, and another on the next repeater down from me. If they split, I'll know it. Then I can grab the NAC on the input.

Well yesterday was a big day, and I could hardly get any sleep last night. This morning was "active" on known stuff, but I can't talk about it now (rules). And I just landed the NAC for one I logged the other day but was not strong enough at that time to lock.

169.6625 NAC 292 (confirmed NAC on a hit I got west of Yeehaw Junction the other day)

Today I'm heading back out. I hope to get more in an area I visited a while back but didn't have much time to stick around. Report to follow...

Another hit on 169.900 with some Encryption 408 & 220 units (clear). Both units were in the clear but someone else was using Encryption.

Solid signal from 169.900 picked up a lady dispatcher 408 but I didn't hear who she was speaking to.

Edit...408, 108 and 220 units. Is there a repeater linked to 169.900? All I am getting is the dispatcher side.
