Reason varies.
a. Could be legit, many users sharing the same Freq
b. Weak Signal being decoded incorrectly
c. Scanner overloaded by Strong Signals from adj freq
d. Software/Scanner not removing the old NAC info quick enough
e. Images from VHF 151-160 band

I'm going for D

What is the reason the same frequency has different NAC tones and doe's anyone know what the ones in question are? I have looked at the
http://forums.radioreference.com/federal-monitoring-forum/155716-federal-nacs.html and these are not listed. Is their a more recent NAC code list?

165.2875 $ FFO- not sure what the code belongs to?
165.2875 $ 156 -not sure what the code belongs to?
165.2875 $ 167- FBI
165.2875 $ 32E - not sure what the code belongs to?
165.2875 $ 357- VA

165.2125 $ 7D5 -not sure what the code belongs to?
165.2125 $ D2F -not sure what the code belongs to?

The frequency i started this with is ANG at Pitt Int'l.

But now i got another few without NAC confusions lol.

138.0750 $293 - R - Full Time ENC.
173.5125 $293 - R - 95% in the clear but too weak of a signal to get a good conversation to tell who it is.
169.5750 $293 - R - 50/50 on ENC. Just heard them talking about bringing the shovels out & something about personal mail will be here tomorrow.

Also i forget who posted all those frequencies with all different NACs but ...
156 = DEA
167 = FBI
389 = ICE/CBP (Mainly Regional Patched NETs)
864 = Marshals (I hear activity sometimes but mainly ENC)

138.0750 $293 - likely USAF or ANGB based on other users across the County

173.5125 $293 - Also likely USAF or ANGB - if ENC, not FD, likely SP/PD

169.5750 $293 - I would go for a VA, altho my experience has been PD is P25 and Maint/Etc are Analog

Keep listening,

I got them programmed in as a P25 one frequency noe to get radio IDs.
165.5750 NAC 293 shows a TGID of 1 and a UID of 2030295
173.5125 NAC 293 shows all UIDs of 1 and it sounds like a maintenance channel. Aircraft 67 in hanger and talking about electrical and cargo door for electrician.
169.5750 NAC 293 shows all UIDs of 1 also so my guess is ANG or USAF seeing the other post about air-ground radio IDs mainly being 1.
