I'm picking this up here in NYC as well.

I am getting zip on this. Odd since I am between @Marcy57 and NYC where @Tank67 is.

I started around 9 30 his morning and have not seen a peep. Really think this discone is a POS.

Very strong in the Rockland County area using a modest setup with discone antenna. There is definitely a transmitter in the NYC area, I would not be picking anything up for anywhere in central NJ or Philly with that scanner.

keep in mind, not many agencies have exclusive rights anymore, frequencies are shared and the fun is in the searching

I was getting RIDs of 11 from SEPA just outside Philly. All 5 recordings were P25E

E02 all morning different RIDS...anybody know QTH for it?
I know it,s not BNL...cause it,s like S7 only and it,s P25 enc.
abt 4 or 5 diff. RIDS all with 551 and a control station ?

A bit late to this hunt and well off my beat @Marcy57. Heard Monmouth County EMS to Sandy Hook. Decided to check the frequencies in DB. Listened and looked on my SA. Nothing. Searched the band and 173.7625 P25E was very active for a Sunday.

173.7625 NAC E02 is -90db

Based on my location, the speculation is the location of repeater is the Atlantic Highlands NJ. This is high above Sandy Hook National Park. May be NPS.

Sandy Hook which uses 173.825 NAC 225 and 169.750 NAC 500 is also
