SEVEN radios in one vehicle? You MUST be from a very large metropolitan area to have enough to listen to!

Mike

I have 7 radios in my rig, and it isn't enough (IMO), and I'm in a relatively rural area. I think if I had 2-3 more, I'd be at one with the universe.

Great job by the way.

Yes, very nice set up in the Dodge truck. I hope you get lots of compliments.

Rod, I had a good laugh when I saw your post. I saw the pictures of your radios/antennas and you have a few. Fortunately for you that you drive a law enforcement vehicle so you probabaly can go more unnoticed with those extra antennas.

I would like to add 1 more radio to mine, I have 5 extra antennas already. I read one time the vehicles we drive can be a form of art, for me it is. I just like to have the truck look a certain way, the antennas in a certain place, a particular type of tool box everything in it's place. I also like to be prepared for the unexpected so some of it is my EDC for the truck.

Here is a pic of my screen. Ill get the antenna pic up as soon as I can.

Awesome interior, just a random thought, but since everything in there is pretty much orange backlight looking, I thought you should try a program for computers that I found awhile ago. Its called F.lux. Basically it changes the hue of your screen automatically when the sun goes down in your timezone. Some people love it, some people hate it, but I find it to be quite effective. Not sure how it would look in a vehicle, but here's a link: F.lux: software to make your life better

I have added a couple more antennas since the last pic. I think I have 10 or 11 now. Getting pretty silly, actually. Still need more radios, lol.

Question about your console

I love your very clean and easily accessible setup. I've got a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 ST regular cab that I'm very interested in modifying. I want to remove the center fold down jumpseat and install a center console much like what you've done with your 2005. Where did you find your console? Do you know if this one will also fit a 2004? Any help you could provide would be deeply appreciated. 73's Jason (N5JFH)

I sure would love to see a pic of the radio set up in your truck. A base station on wheels?
It would be a sight to see.
Your base station set up is also fascinating.
