You live 7 min away? (Hens the no lights n siren)?

About how many call do you get?
Since you are a volunteer, do you hold a primary/paying job?

Sorry for all the questions, I just find it interesting, as we don't have that anywhere near me!

I live about 5 minutes away. I have lights, but no siren. Lights are used to respond to the station or if I respond direct to a call.

Calls vary. We do around 950ish per year (Fire/EMS). With the Tropical Storm and October NorEaster this year, we'll probably go over 1100 for 2011.

Yes, I have a full time job. I work about 12-15 minutes from the firehouse and will respond from work from time to time. Most volunteer time is performed after work or on weekends.

If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.

Yes sir. Sweetest piece of fire apparatus we own and she is the second out engine.

It is in the front of the Tahoe in the above pic.

Pumps hard and is still quick. Had a barn fire 3 years ago and she pumped dump tanks for about 5 hours, up hill (Not sure the change in elevation). Even had a fuel truck come in to keep her going.

I'll freeze my butt off any day in the rear jump seats.

We're hoping to get a new first due engine in the next year or two. I really hope ET146 hangs around for a few more years of service.

I can try and dig up more pics if you want...shoot me a PM if interested.

Oh duh!!! Should have looked harder and seen the plate on the back door! I saw that rig onetime when I was buffing up your way years ago. Sweet rig, don't make them like than anymore. My vollie company had a ALF Century similar to Ellington's, 500 water though, great old truck, could pump the you know what out of them for hours!

I'll drop you a pm later on!
