Here's what you radio fiends are after.... antennas lol.

Added the rear outer 2 just now, adding I think 6 more tonight. That rear antenna was in fact a Sharkee with all the leads terminated with connectors 18" or so off the unit. Pretty neat!

Lets see. I see two phantom elites, which is assume are the LTE diversity antennas. Looks like the older dual band wilson. UHF phantom, maybe an active gps puck?

Ha.... just random antennas to cover the holes for now.

The goal will be to have a set of all low-profile phantom type antennas for normal day to day operations and fitting in the garage, with a full set of whips to swap to for prolonged incidents like vegetation fires.

9 antennas... still not enough. Need to do 2 more mounts.

why'd you choose the visionx over the rigid?

Also, what do you do?

I picked the VisionX because I'm a dealer for them, the 30" which fit correctly was in stock and this new bar just was released a couple of months ago - XPi I think its called, that utilizes some new reflector and LED for longer range light so I wanted to try that out. I havent actually wired it yet, hope to do that tonight and test it some.

Need to drill the last 2 NMOs first and reinstall the headliner. Going to go to Home Depot and look for those little sticky square things that you can ziptie to so I can secure the coax along the roof to the B C D pillars.

What do all of the radios do? What type of "work" do you do? That thing is awesome.

Looking good; I won't have nearly that many antennas on mine, and I have to figure out a way to get rid of the useless roof rack on mine without leaving holes for water to to get inside.

Installed a Whelen TIR3 rear LED arrowstick yesterday, still need to get the 2 rear slimlighters mounted, maybe this evening. Waiting approx 2 more weeks to get the Havis console in, all radios are programmed and ready. Got the front and rear door windows tinted, waiting for the back side windows and rear hatch until the lighting is finalized to be tinted around.

Those should be the right size to fit the holes that are left from what I got on the TahoeYukon forums, throw some silicone sealant in to make it watertight. I was thinking about getting the NMO antenna hole covers that they put on old cop cars when they take them out of service and cutting the inside piece out and using the dome as a cover for that flat look so there's not just screws sticking out on the roof.

Thanks for the link; I'll keep it handy for when I'm ready to order the stuff I need for the truck.

What is your occupation? Are you independent? I love the truck but know nothing about the occupation that requires all that awesome gear.

Sorry about the lack of updates... these CA wildfires have had me a little busy, and also pissed this thing is not built. Been having handhelds and mobiles sliding all over the floor and switches floating at the ends of wires.

Havis Shields and their dealers are about the biggest joke of a company I've ever worked with. Get one thing straight - NEVER deal with Responder Public Safety Equipment out of Missouri- they didnt place my order with Havis until after a MONTH after I placed it with them then lied to me, wouldnt return calls, etc. Im piecing Havis parts together from 4 or 5 different suppliers across the US now after a long wait of nothing.

Got the base mounting kit in today so decided to pull the seats, run the antenna cables and get the base installed. Waiting on the 30" console to arrive to mount onto the base, I have an 18" sitting here I may use temporarily for some stuff.
