2015 Jeep Patriot.

Kenwood TM-281A
Roof mounted NMO 2 meter antenna
ASUS ZenPad used for Active911, APRS, and listening to broadcastify feeds.
Feniex 4200 Mini controller for emergency equipment control.

I also have a scanner antenna mounted on the driver side fender that is mainly connected to a flightaware pro stick plus so I can track ADS-B beacons from aircrafts.

I took the easy way out. I installed it directly over the middle interior light that way I didn't have to remove anything (except the light) and I knew what I was drilling into.

I also have a 2015 Jeep Patriot Zack . My question is ,Does the scanner antenna mount to the fender or the hood and how did you run the cable . Also how hard was it to run the cable down for the roof antenna. I'm look for help to do mine . I'm very happy with my jeep. Thanks for the help , Steven

Rats, the one Liberty I am working on does not have a center dome light. And I was not able to see too well above the headliner from the door jam.

Steve, there should be a boot for the cable harness on the left side above where your left foot is while driving. Driver's side under hood, yellow cable is main power for radios going thru boot..

The antenna is mounted to a bolt on the fender. I drilled a new hole in the mount to help is sit closer to the body (ill get you some pictures tomorrow). The antenna cable is pushed through a wire harness boot just forward of the door. Power comes through a hole drilled on the right side fire wall.

Nicely done. The problem with a lot of these newer vehicles is the lack of available mounting options on and around the center console. I like how you maximized the amount of available space.
