yes no data from either one. to confirm the control channels are as listed: cc1= 155.025 and cc2= 171.6875Did you try the other Control Channel?

That's what the DB saysyes no data from either one. to confirm the control channels are as listed: cc1= 155.025 and cc2= 171.6875
Yeah and also what is showing in my SDS200 scanner, and I been analyzing the tower site using full database and updated so I have all current info, no reason for not getting data unless site is not transmitting data for some reason. Is there any time when MOSWIN sites do not send data? That's what the DB says
If you’re running a NAC code try shutting that off. Other things to try…enter the control channel frequency in quick search (hold on a channel and enter frequency then hit channel hold again) and see what populates.I have a question about the MOSWIN Alton tower site, whenever I go into analyze on my SDS200 there is no data being received from this tower site, has good signal but no data from the control channels, I do not have this issue with the surrounding sites like Ripley County, Van Buren, Poplar Bluff, and a couple other sites in range no issues. Anyone have any idea why there is no data being sent from the control channels on the Alton site?
No. P25 trunked systems don't work like that. They don't just turn off sites for the hell of it.Is there any time when MOSWIN sites do not send data?
Ok lol, there is zero wrong on my end, there are at least 4 other tower sites I have no problems with, but the Alton site is just not transmitting any data, I have manually monitored each frequency and it is not happening, glad all the other sites around me are working fine. I also tried it on two other scanners and the same, no data.No. P25 trunked systems don't work like that. They don't just turn off sites for the hell of it.
If you can't receive a control channel it can only be 3 reasons:
1. The CC changed to one you don't have programmed.
2. Something else is wrong on your end.
3. The site is off the air because of maintenance or equipment failure.
I will continue to monitor the site and play with the settings and frequencies, if the site is indeed off the air I will find out.OOps sorry did not see earlier responses. Not sure ho far you are from the site, but do a search thru all the VHF and 700MHz freqs and look for the site number in the data stream - they may have changed completely...or be off the air!
No noise.Do you hear any constant computer-type noise on ANY of that site's frequencies when you program it in FM mode?
Well then you're not receiving that site at all. That would be why you're not getting any data from that site.No noise.
that makes no sense, I use to receive it just fine, I even had it programmed into my feed scanner, but it no longer receives any data from that site, but it has three other towers that it still gets data from and works just fine. I don't know but something happened to that site it has changed some how sense I first put my feed scanner online, I'll figure it out if I have to drive closer to the tower site, something has changed with it and that will be my assessment till I prove otherwise or someone proves me wrong.Well then you're not receiving that site at all. That would be why you're not getting any data from that site.
The surrounding sites would show an unknown neighbor/peer if there was a site there.MOSWIN "Holes"
Let's find some sites that are "likely" to be on the air:
1. For example looking at the site map: MOSWIN SITES there is a hole around Kirksville, with 17,000 people and home to a State University.
The Greentop site 1-31 is barely in Adair County. It seems like there could be a 700 MHz site in Kirksville or just south of it.
WOULD SOMEONE in Adair County/Kirksville search thru the 700MHz band for control channel "buzz" and find
a site number that is not listed? It is vaguely possible there is a VHF site, but more likely 700 MHz
(more "holes to be found!)
