I added Thunderbird frequencies from 3 different pages to my list of Indy500 frequencies. Ended up with 29 new channels to scan. No clue if any of them will hit- if these are current frequencies that they use or not. Anyone have any insight on these (bottom of my page) 2024 IndyCar Frequencies
Just remember they will be AM mode.

So the cars are mostly the same, but the Indycar Radio frequency changes a lot?

Indycar on race day was much harder to hear than when I reported it.
Meaning the 454.000?
It might have been your location. I had it loud and clear on the main stretch. It is normally a pretty strong signal, I thought, but where were you sitting?

Yes, 454.0. I was coming south on Lafaytte Road from Whitestown and even 38th across was iffy. At home near the State Fairgrounds prior to race day was much better and I went from the radio room to the car in the driveway to compare and it was about the same, nice and clear.

At every track? spotter's guides seems to all be different. Looking for Road America specifically.
Road America has a Fm PA on 87.9 (never had any issues hearing it anywhere on grounds)

454.00 should work at RA or
Scan 450-451 and 455-456 Media is there.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't expect it to work away from the track at all! I mean, it might, depending on their antenna height and power... But I'd only assume this is track side.

I just Posted this over in the IMSA 2024 Forum and thought I would also Post it here as Indycar Files are also included in the Package:
Attached are the IMSA WeatherTech and Michelin Pilot Series Frequencies Collected at Laguna Seca with BC125AT, SC230 and SC200 Files. The BC125AT and SC230 Files are in Uniden and Butel ARC Formats and the SC200 is only in the Butel ARC Formats. There are also Frequency Lists and Channel Layout Lists for the BC125AT and the SC200. The BC125AT and SC230 also contain the Latest Indycar and NXT Frequency Updates courtesy of TheMann00 and Twin Power Scanners Data with Thanks for keeping all of us Updated.

Here are the Latest Indycar and Indy NXT Scanner Frequencies from Portland based on
the Entry Lists for both Series. The Zip File contains Uniden BC125AT, SC230 and
SC200 in the Uniden and ARC File Formats as well as a Frequency List and a BC125AT
Channel Layout List. I tracked the USF Juniors/F2000/PRO200 Series with Mild
Success. I will be putting that together at a later time as their Season is over. If any
additional Information is needed, let me know.

A couple Notes:

Indycar: Both #8, Lundqvist and #15 Rahal used Alternate Frequencies during the whole
Weekend. For the BC125AT and SC200, I entered the Alternate Frequencies in Channels
8 and 15 and entered their Normal Primary Frequencies in Channels 35 and 38. No major
changes to Frequencies or T/C’s.

Indy NXT: A few new Frequency and T/C Updates added to the List. Unfortunately, it
was not a Full Field as seen in earlier Races.

Media: NBC/Peacock was found on a few 450 MHz Frequencies with 450.1250 chosen
with No Director speaking over the Commentators. Indycar Radio Network was
Confirmed on 450.9000 but was not Broadcasting during some events. More Continuous
Broadcasting of Indycar Radio was found on 450.3375. The 455 MHz Range contained a
number of Director Channels for both the Commentators and Cameras.

Officials: Active on 468.8250/103.5

That was probably NBC production. Indycar Radio internal/production was on 450.6375 and was pretty entertaining at the Mile.
