Got all this morning around 8 am here later asian fishing boats were loud.Angelo

Thinking of using SDR# with the scanner plugin to catch some of these events.
What is the optimum range of frequencies to scan? 30-50 or some variation of that?
Also what is the channel spacing on low band...20khz?
The logs are very interesting...thought VHF low was dead, obviously not.

if only doing US Channels 20 khz is fine, but keep in mind, RF travels and you may need to adjust the spacing to accomodate the other countries :)

Polys on 31.xxx are almost nonstop now, like it's next door to me. The French signals on 35-36 are no longer everyday and are somewhat weaker. CHP and Costa Rica is more often now. Some good 555 military on 33.8 and others.

Heard today around 1630 utc
40.900 pl 151.4 flight of 4 helos with much chatter of cloud bases and weather and decending down to 3500 then to 2500 feet ,more chater and each checked in to the leader .Talk of Nashville town then they decended to 500 feet and i lost them way to weak
