can you actually see the tanker? about what altitude? I am near the middle of the CAP (bernards twp) i cannot see any aircraft with the naked eye. listening on 260.9 to the activity.

Go to the ADB-S map to see what the track is in relation to your location. The tankers orbit at 24k feet. You can see the tanker and the fighters with the naked eye. But its better with binoculars. About an hour ago, I saw the tanker go over with the fighter connected. I believe they are F-22's out of Shaw AFB.
