396 Clone mode

Just received my 396 and immediately used Butel's Clone396 to do a backup. Everything went well until the end. I got the Complete message at the end, however I could not figure out how to exit Clone mode. No buttons responded so I eventually powered the unit off and then back on. The manual doesn't seem to give any advice... am I missing something?

Software issue? He is referring to the 396 keyboard.

After a restore you must power off/on the 396.
After a backup press 'L/O' then 'SCAN' and you are back in 396 menu.

Yes, you are correct, but I guess I should have been more verbose in my quick comment when I was moving the topic. Using any software requires setting the radio up and then unsetting it. Hence it belongs here as opposed to the Uniden Forum since it will only come into play with software use.

I guess I must have gotten the result I was looking for since you answered the question for him. BTW, good job on being the first to kick out something (for the public) that can interface with this new radio.

I originally asked in the Uniden forum because it seemed to be unit-related and wasn't covered in the manual. Also, since you can clone unit to unit, wouldn't the Uniden forum be more appropriate for future questions?
