396XT NAC Search

I've looked and read, and read and looked, and now have a new grey hair I call NAC (No Actual Clue). Can someone please tell me, or give me a link, on how to program a NAC search using ARC-XT Pro and the 396XT?

In the P25NAC column press 'S' for the NAC search option.

Thanks folks.
I figured out how to do it by making a new system but I was wondering if there was a way to do the same in, say custom search or another mode?
