BCD436HP/BCD536HP: 536 resetting it self

Hi my radio started doing some strange things the other day.
1st I noticed the hold button came on by it self, I pushed it off and it came back on, I did this multiple times and it seams to stay off now.
2nd the radio has restarted itself multiple times like it lost AC power.
One other thing I have noticed for a while the MSP type 2 comes in louder then the other freqs my buddy said he does not notice it on his radios.

You can adjust the Volume Offset to correct the different levels.

You can try to reformat the SD card or try a different card.

If I turn down the vol for MSP the other freq are to low.
I will try a new SD card

Hopefully all you state can be corrected by the various suggestions… or maybe it’s time to consider an upgrade to a new scanner? Remember, if the issues you have can not be corrected by the suggested remidies and you think it’s time to send it in to Uniden repair, it will cost you $90 aprox to fix. (They have a set repair fee that covers diagnostic and will fix not only what you have found but anything else they may find for the one set $90 fee.) You might consider taking that repair cost and put it towards a new SDS200 instead.
