Location Control is OFF, so that isn't an issue. I've checked all of the frequencies I entered in for all of the sites, and they are all correct. Most--if not all--of the TGs I have are simulcast across all sites. I can't seem to find any reason why it wouldn't pick up the channels. I've included the .hpd file. Maybe someone can show me what I'm missing here.

You have to save it as a hpe file.
In Sentinel, File>Export to hpe file...

OK - looking at in in ARC - which ones does it skip? Need to direct me like I'm 5 as I have no knowledge of that area.

Also - easier to export as hpe in Sentinel - I can deal with an hpd - not sure if others can

A quick look and I see no issues. I also do not use ARC much - so I could miss something.

It seems to be skipping SO PRIMARY and SO SECONDARY on TxWARN and almost all of the College Station Public Works channels there. Oddly, it'll pick up everything else in the "COUNTY" department, just not the two SO channels.

I see no reason :) How did you create it?

I see some differences in sites and/or site frequencies, but that should not be an issue if you are receiving the system.

Did you use ARC to build it - or use some of your existing data.

I'd re-download from RR if you use ARC - or re-build from Sentinel.

I did notice no location data - mine all have location even when I do not use it . Don't think that is an issue either.

I had the RR db window open and was trying to compare - but you have renamed stuff and can't easily compare on this laptop - need a bigger window, or 2.

After building an entire new Favorites List, I'm still having problems. I separated each TxWARN site into its own system. After doing this, I noticed that the only site the scanner picks up any traffic on is 127, while all my other scanners are picking up traffic on all the other sites. I disabled the system, and I stopped getting any traffic. It seems to be ignoring the TG lists on the other two sites. When I hold on what should be an active channel on one of those sites, I get complete silence.

So in Sentinel if you click on Edit and then Edit Profile you have monitor set to on for each favorite and on the service types tab you have all of the services checked as well as any custom service types checked and it is still skipping some of your items in your favorites list?

I was just thinking. Could there be something wrong with the SD card? I know this is a long shot, but I've read on here that other people were having problems with their SD cards.

FIXED IT!!!

Apparently, the default band plan on 127 was 762.00625/6.250 while the others were (somehow) 851.00625/6.250. I changed the other two to 762.00625 and now everything's working fine!!

I'm having the same issue. RR database is wrong and has one of our systems programed for X2-TDMA. It's a real pain because Sentinel will not let you change the System Type which happens to be Standard P25. I issued a request for a change to the DB administrator.

On this post http://forums.radioreference.com/2137855-post17.html which is your other one Kevin stated it was x2 and OK. I don't think you are going to see the DB changed. If I'm following all this.

Are you changing from X2-TDMA to Standard P25 directly via the radio since Sentinel will not let you?

I am aware of some things Sentinel cannot change but you can change them via the radio manually.

You really need someone from the area to confirm that the system is not broadcasting X2 or P2 information before it can be changed in the database.

If the HomePatrol has problems with the system because it's X2, than Uniden needs to address the issue. We don't make changes to the database to fix manufacturers defects.

Interesting, it doesn't have a "default" bandplan" it reads it from the control channel.

Bandplan 0 should be 851.00625/6.25 and bandplan 1 should be 762.00625/6.25.

If what you say is true, the scanner isn't properly decoding the bandplan information.

Another thought, according to UPMan if you change it manually it will overwrite that information once it decodes it from the CC.

Something is definitely amiss here.

On 127, both band plans were there. For some reason, when I programmed the other two sites in, the 762.00625 band plan didn't appear. Keep in mind that I created this favorites list from scratch, and not from the HPDB.

Hmm, still interesting as the scanner "should" have read the bandplan info from the CC. The HPDB has no bandplan info. You can confirm this by looking at any site in Sentinal (not a FL) and checking the bandplan...it will be empty.

It seems that it successfully read the band plan from the CC on 127, but for some very odd reason, didn't do it for 121 and 122.
