My son is in the Coast Guard (Aircrew/SSO on Falcons out of Cape Cod). I was listening to CAMSLANT freqs this morning to see if I could possibly hear him today, and thought the same thing about the distortion. Until, that is, I used the Attenuator feature on my R75- then all sounded well again.
