Hmmm.....could be a pirate and not in the usual HF BC bands. Did you check the HF Underground for previous logs? How about turning the loop to get a better signal?

Maybe...there are a couple of Brazilian pirates that run on strange frequencies. Listen for an ID; see what you can do to clean up the signal when you hear it. Turning the loop in the proper direction might be a way to start. Use the tools that you have in the radio you are using. This is how you really begin to learn about the radio

Yep that's another way to go. Great catch. They are often low powered and hard to hear. Oh and by the way the WUN has been gone for years. It's now the Utility DXers Forum or UDXF on the groups.io server.

Still there...if you cannot cpy it on AM ..try USB you can here the carrier not that it does much good but a good way to locate it..try it..they had easy listening music before I cannot rotate my loop had goats chew through the rotator cable or a horse one of them gotta replace it!..Marcy
