With the pro2096 scanning the michigan 800 system when I stop the scanner on the control channel and get the signal % there are a few different screens like ???? 80% then ???? 86%, of course the question marks are replaced with numbers. What do they each mean?

The numbers are the tower numver and the stregenth of the signal you are receiving.

Here's what they mean:

SY796 : System ID number is 796 (Hex Value)
T0201 : Tower/Site Number. First two numbers are the zone, last two site number (In HEX)
92493 : This is the Wide Area Communications Network (WACN) number used for roaming. This is also a Hex number (Many systems use BEE00 for this number).
