Broadcastify has been around for a while now and appears to be well established. But it has the same ole look and feel as it did when it started. Why not modernize it?

I know between Blanton and some of the other master developers here this could be done.

Turn broadcastify into a scanner. Create an application available on PC and phone that allows the listener to paste in 10 or 20 of their favorite feeds to a master panel and then allow those to scan like a radio scanner. Equip it with Hold, Delay and Avoid. Make the display show the Feed name and if alpha tags are enabled the tag as well, similar to the newer Uniden scanners.

Wrap it up in a nice looking app and sell it on the app stores and maybe even through the website for PC users. Take Broadcastify to the next level, I know it could be done.

Just a thought.

As posted by sonm10 above, ScannerLive does most of what you are looking for. I use it regularly to "scan" multiple Broadcastify feeds as well as my own custom feeds (up to 10). I also stream the audio from ScannerLive to my phone, PC and/or tablet using ProScan's Radio Feed (IceCast server).

Then of course there is also the feed dashboard, allowing you to make favorite lists of up to 6 feeds each which can be accessed from any web browser. Very similar to the ScannerLive application except it's web based.

Agreed. Unfortunately, the dashboard does not allow you to make one of the feeds a priority. That is a must for me and the main reason I use ScannerLive, along with the ability to add custom/private feeds.
