To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.
To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.
The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

I have the AR-2520 RADIO AND AFTER A REBOOT, I GET A BLACK SCREEN. IS THERE ANYWAY TO DO A FACTORY REBOOT OF THIS RADIO? i THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
It worked in a frozen radio? Like the others guys here, mine does not bot up.
Do you happen to have some kind of manual for this software?
I tried and entered all the data as in your pictures and i guess it works.
But I'm interested further in what this app can do and what is what...I am a new Radio Amateur and still learning and i like to first read the manual and then try and experiment.

This radio is a mystery it comes as Abbree ar-2520, as Motorola MT-8900, HamGeek MT-8900 and as no name on AliExpress, For those with blank display try opening the station and reattach the flat cable to the socket firmly on both ends...and after I got this idea I found a seller that suggest the same thing:"Seller's Reply: Dear customer: Please try tightening the power cord again, or open the case and reconnect both ends of the ribbon cable."
I Hope this solves someone's issue....that is all that I found for now if i dig something more I'll post it here.

Its not written by this person. I need to find a source of the shared software on this forum.

Mosfet seri ???The bolts for the bracket were too long for me and damaged the PCB

does anyone know with the tuning software can i tune am as mild am airband transmissions the voices are clear but really strong am transmissions come through disorted and garbled on airband

i do have the abbree ar2520 with programming and tuning software as both work and function with my radio
Comprei um Abbree AR-2520, ele estava funcionando normalmente quando de repente parou de funcionar, fez um barulho no alto-falante e não ligou mais. Alguém sabe se tem reset de fábrica?
