hello ineed a 6volt at least 800ma ac power cord for my scanner. looking at radioshack i found 1 that would work, how ever it is a class b which i never heard of any way manuall says the adaptor must be class 2. would this work or not also what would the diffrence be. thanks for youre help.

The one from Radio Shack should work just fine as long as it has the correct power rating. A Type B adaptor means that it has 3 prongs which means it is gounded. A Class II adapter means that it is ungrounded and is protected by double insulation.
