You can use your Sentinel software to update to the newest version of the firmware.

After you connect your scanner to your PC and the software is open, click on Update then Update Firmware.

That's it, very easy.

Update: After just leaving the scanner on for a while it seems to have obtained the control channel signal. Once it obtains the signal it seems to hold it pretty well as long as i don't move around too much, but that is a different issue all together.

Change digital threshold to "Manual" and set it to 8.

Ok, I'll give it a try. Should I keep all the frequencies in there or just the site control channel?

I believe it works either way with P25.
